Mr. Iqbal Chand Khurana desired to create an orchard in his 14-acre property in Asola near Chattarpur, borne out of nostalgia for his former birthplace in Pakpattan in present day Pakistan.

and a Padma Bhushan awardee.
Entrusted with the task of converting this almost barren
land into an oasis of greenery.
A visionary for his times, he adopted the Israeli system of Drip Irrigation those many years ago!
Mr. Khurana moved on and the farm fell into virtual neglect.
Now, the family,
headed by his grandson, Kanav Ahuja, has revived it again during these Covid days.
The name Sabz Bagh is a Persian origin word meaning 'enchanting' and that is exactly what we are striving to achieve.
